Successful marriage is more important than successful wedding.
Unfortunately, many Singles are oblivious of this truth. Great marriage is a product of solid
preparation and one of this preparation is prayer.
As you’re preparing for your wedding; there’re prayers to pray as well.
Before you say “I do”, solidify your marriage with these prayers and you will send your
testimonies to me :
Father, make me rich deeply in the knowledge of your Word than the knowledge of this world concerning marriage/relationship.
Father,Prepare me for the marriage you have prepared for me.
Prepare me for the spouse you have ordained for me in Jesus name.
O Lord, package me to be a blessing to my spouse and not a curse.
Father,reveal my dark side to me which may make my marriage to fail.
Father,give me the grace to do away with my dark sides in Jesus Name.
Anger,stinginess,selfishness and every negative character in me; be uprooted in Jesus name
Holy Ghost; fill me with fruits of the Spirit for me to become a Spirit-controlled husband/wife in Jesus name.
I received the spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding to build a lasting and enviable marriage in Jesus name. (Eph.1:16-19)
O Lord, help me to make the most of my marriage
Father,I reject temporary joy in my marriage,
O Lord, make your joy permanent in my marriage in Jesus Name.Rom.8:28, 2Cor.12:7-10
Father,guard my eyes and mind from straying to other ladies and men in Jesus Name.
Use me as a symbol of a virtuous wife
O Lord,use me as a symbol of a godly husband in Jesus Name
Father,use my marriage to portray kingdom marriage in Jesus Name.
Father, let me be rooted and grounded in love with my spouse in Jesus name.
Father,honour me before my in-laws in Jesus name
Father,make me enjoy the love and total support of my spouse’s siblings and family members in Jesus name.
I claimed 100% love of my future mother-in-law in Jesus name.
O Lord, let my marriage speak volumes of your glory in Jesus name.
Father, let me be rooted and grounded in love with my spouse in Jesus name.
I refused to misbehave in Jesus name
I refused to be manipulated against my marriage in Jesus name.
Holy Spirit, help me not to be preoccupied with my job ,career or ministry to the detriment of my marriage in Jesus name.
Father;give me the wisdom to strike a balance between my marriage and career in Jesus name
Holy Spirit, take over my tongue to communicate positively and not destructively in my marriage in Jesus name.
Holy Spirit, be my tongue’s regulator daily in marriage in Jesus name.
I refused to be a tool in the hands of the devil to destroy my marriage in Jesus name.

Holy Spirit, regulate my eyes to be satisfied daily with my spouse in marriage in Jesus name.

Every curse of polygamy, single parent, separation, and divorce in my family, be broken by the blood of Jesus.
In my marriage, I refused to be a young widow/widower.
Holy Spirit, program my heart to exhibit positive actions in my marriage daily in Jesus Name.

Holy Spirit, help us to forgive one another regardless of the issues and conflicts in Jesus
Father,bless me, my spouse and children with sound health in Jesus Name
We insure our health with the blood of Jesus, our health will not fail us in Jesus Name.
The joy of the Lord, renew our marriage daily in Jesus Name.
Holy Spirit, reset my heart to be a spirit-controlled spouse in Jesus Name.
Father,I handover our marriage into your hands, build it for us in Jesus Name.
O Lord, let my conversation and actions reflect Christ daily in my marriage.
Father,protect our marriage from satanic attacks in Jesus name.
